Unveiling massive black hole evolution with gravitational waves and light
19th-23rd May 2025
Paris, France
This workshop will focus on improving our understanding of massive black hole evolution through theory, simulations, modelling and both electromagnetic and gravitational wave radiation. There will be sessions on the seeding of massive black holes, the dynamics and structure of massive black hole interactions, the spin evolution of the black holes, as well as related objects such as extreme mass ration inspirals (EMRIs) and quasi periodic eruptions (QPEs). There will also be sessions on interpreting multi-messenger and electromagnetic observations, and future observing strategies. Each session will start with comprehensive review talks and then include a number of contributed talks.
